American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM)
Courses offered:
Asam 0.5 (Intensive)
Asam 1.0
Asam 0.5 (Early Intervention)
Our goal is to give education to people who are at risk of developing a substance abuse problem and intervene before it becomes a problem, give a general education on addiction, what the lifestyle is like, behaviors and consequences of addiction, and teach wellness plans that will keep patients away from addiction
Asam 1.0 & Intensive (Outpatient Treatment)
Level 1 ASAM is an outpatient treatment where meetings are less than 9 hours a week. Our program takes in the person's strengths, assets, and the support they receive to develop a plan that could determine the appropriate level of care for their substance abuse. Helping people change to make better choices when it comes to substance abuse and develop skills to succeed later on in life is our main goal. We will provide the tools needed for long-lasting sobriety through group activities that work on self-improvement with other people dealing with similar issues.
We use Prime Solutions to help people change to make better choices regarding substance abuse and develop skills to succeed later in life. Participants will go through activities that help them realize what must be done for self-improvement
